Brand experience … of a digital kind

Digital connections offer a raft of interesting ways to express what a brand has to offer.
Like everything we do it has to be the right connection point. So what are some of these then?
“I think we need to research some archetypes”
“We should set up community”
“Let’s host a blog”
“Have you heard about widgets?”
Well I’m happy to announce that Beconase is the first bellamyhayden client to pull a widget off a boardroom whiteboard and place it online.
So what is a widget then?
It sits on your desktop and automatically updates itself with current information from this wonderful thing called the World Wide Web.
Beconase is all about prevention so it made perfect sense to create a branded allergy alert widget complete with a continually updating three day weather forecast and pollen count.
You sufferers know what I’m talking about!
The Beconase Allergy Alert widget can be downloaded to your desktop after a few easy steps from a micro-site hosted by Yahoo!7.
Check it out at www.yahoo7.com.au/becky

Good to see you here Adam!
And David- nice work in continuing to educate a traditionally focused client on the opportunities of digital communication.
Brand utility is such a lovely way to create a digital relationship and the widget provides a handy top of mind message.
